I can not tell you how being a fellow Angel has added to my life, first of all it's the people within this unique forum that makes one proud to be an adoptive and foster care mom.  For me it's just being with a fellow angel that you do not have to explain a situation, they already know your path.  Just needed to sent a shout out to all fellow Angels and remind them that they are all in good company.  Thank you CCAI for continuing this great program in our trying times.

Denise Gernant: CCAI inspired us to do more

When Deanna and I along with our Daughter Jamie returned from DC we received a call from CPS asking us to consider taking newborn preemie twins.  Before our trip I might have said no feeling our plate was full with 3 children under 5 in the home.  But since our trip and meeting all the wonderful people I now consider close friends even after just spending a week together we said YES.  I'm so happy we did although we are walking zombies right now I have never been happier.  Thank you CCAI for touching our lives...

Sue Badeau: Angels has grown!

Greetings - this is a great idea Kathleen and everyone at CCAI.  I was very sad to miss the 2009 Banquet - it was the first time I missed it since the very first one - which was not a banquet at all - in 1999 - I think there were about seven of us there! LOL.  How awesome to see how this has grown and turned into a great opportunity for both public awareness and advocacy for children and families.

Colleen M. Quinn: Congratulations CCAI and 2009 Angels!

Congratulations to the 2009 Angels - especially my fellow AAAA Fellows! Well deserved! As a 2008 Angel (VA), I can report that it was a very moving and memorable experience. And congrats CCAI on a fabulous website and for all that you do for the world of adoption!

Lynn Lehr: Congratulations Angels 2009

Being awarded as an "Angel in Adoption" (WI-2008) was an experience like none other.  Proudly wear your "angel" pin.  There are so many unique individuals who give so much of themselves to make a difference in the life of a child.  Each and every one of you are special! Congratulations and enjoy the festivities.
